The legacy of Supro amplifiers stretches back to the 1930s and reaches its original peak in the mid 60s with the Blue Rhino hide models that inspired their reissues. While guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, Link Wray, David Bowie and Dan Auerbach used Supro amps and guitars, no musician is more closely associated with the Supro brand than Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin. It is well known that in 1968, Page used a Tele plugged into a customized 1×12 Supro combo amp to record all of the guitar parts on Led Zeppelin’s debut album.
Every element of the Supro reissue amps has been designed from the ground up to bring this long-lost, holy-grail amp to musicians at a working player’s price. The Blue Rhino Hide tolex was specially made, the cabinetry is vintage-correct, the USA-made speakers are totally unique, the transformers are custom and the sound is 100% authentic Supro. Supro reissue amps are hand-assembled in Port Jefferson, NY, USA.

Supro Pedals

The state of the art Supro stompboxes are hand-assembled in Port Jefferson, NY, USA.  They feature custom-tooled, anodized, brushed-aluminum enclosures, 9V battery or AC-powered operation, rear-mounted metal jacks, easy-access side-mounted battery drawer, noiseless (click-free) true-bypass switching and unique, expression pedal functionality.

The Supro Drive pedal sports a simple control layout with Volume, Gain and Tone knobs as well as a toggle switch to select between the different windings of their custom, multi-tapped output transformer—either for high-headroom BOLD sounds, or more compressed, high-gain RICH tones. Taking the overdrive pedal platform one step further, the Supro Drive offers a TRS port for expression pedal control of the GAIN knob.

The Supro Fuzz pedal sports a simple control layout with Volume, Gain, Treble and Bass knobs. The independent EQ found on this pedal is drawn from the award-winning tone stack found in our flagship tube amplifiers, offering a huge range of adjustability without the frustrating limitations of a more traditional, one-knob EQ design.

The Supro Tremolo is an analog stompbox designed to recreate two of the most desirable vacuum tube based modulation effects found in American amplifiers of the 1960’s. The Supro Tremolo pedal’s AMPLITUDE / HARMONIC switch allows the musician to choose between these distinctly different, vintage effects.

Supro Boost is a “clean” pre-amp ideally suited to pushing the front end of a tube amp. This J-FET based pedal design delivers up to 20db noiseless gain boost plus optional High Pass or Low Pass filtering to contour your sound. Simple, straight-forward and effective, the Supro Boost pedal remains clean and sweet at all settings, no matter how hard you push it with other pedals earlier in the chain.
